The Swiss "Hausquartett" is a highly flexible ensemble that has grown together over the years, mastering the entire sound palette of contemporary jazz from lyrical nuances to explosive grooves, and using it in a very personal way. A compact band that unites strong voices of the Swiss jazz scene without subordinating them to the collective and yet comes across as one. The charm and freshness of this band, their fun and intelligent interaction, which is not a musical back-and-forth but a joint shaping of the musical narrative, make this band a shining example that jazz is more alive than ever.

During Corona-Lockdown, the band has released a series of videos created according to the "Cadavre Exquis" principle of the French surrealists, a way that enabled them to compose and improvise collectively "at a distance". On their new album "From The Cadavre Exquis Collection", they now process the music created at that time.

"From The Cadavre Exquis Collection" has become a playful album, full of crazy ideas and surprises and yet always committed to the musical narrative, a listening adventure with a lot of emotional depth.
"From The Cadavre Exquis Collection" is European jazz at its best.
